.:Critical Thinking :.

Critical Thinking has many complex meaning such as; thinking “outside” the box, divergent thinking, limitless thinking, higher level thinking and so on. However, to identify it in a simple way it is the ability to think clearly and rationally. It includes the ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking. In general, this type is used by many different people like; parents, doctors, supervisors and many others.


Thinking is divided into six different levels which are knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation respectively, begin from simple to complex, and these hierarchical classifications are called “Bloom’s Taxonomy”.

Way of thinking seems to be very important in our daily life. It can effect communications with others, our behavior and how we socialize with people.

Critical Thinkers can play an important part in social change, and also play a major role in technological advances. They have some skills such as; listen carefully to what others are saying, analyze problems closely and reject information that is incorrect or beside the point.


Finally, to be a one you should do some things such as; ask pertinent questions, evaluate statements and arguments, examine beliefs and observe with an open mind.
