This is Abdulrahim;
I was born June 25, 1986 in Abu Dhabi. I have 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Three are marriages and the rest are single, and I have just one niece. Actually am the fifth of nine children of my family.

I have many hobbies such as swimming, playing football, playing video games etc, but my favorite one is playing football. I used to play it every day in my childhood. Actually my dad also likes this hobby. He always watches football matches on TV and plays with his friends.

When I was 9 years old I joined the ALWehda club. I played there for about 3 years, and then we moved outside Abu Dhabi, so it’s hard for me to find transportation to go to the club. I tried to continue my hobby by playing in the neighborhood but because of study and other things, I couldn’t.

Well, it’s not my only hobby, I also like basketball. I sometimes play it in a small court in our neighborhood. Actually my next door neighbors encouraged me to do this. In the beginnings they used to drag me from my house to play with them, and day by day I grew to like this hobby.

One more hobby is swimming. I practice it in my free times in swimming pool or on the Corniche with my friends or sometimes with my family. But mostly I do it in Zayed ALthani swimming pool because I have a membership there.

I also like traveling but not that much. I’ve been to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Singapore, India and the Philippines. I don’t like to stay more than a week when I travel to a certain country because I get bored. For example, five years ago in the summer vacation, my family and I traveled to India. We decided to stay there for a month. My dad told me I could stay home if I wanted but asked me not to disturb us if I wanted to travel, to let the month pass smoothly. I agreed but asked him to double my allowance there! After ten days, I got bored. I couldn’t stay in that dirty country any longer. I returned home alone after long arguments with my dad.

Now I am a student in ADMC. I am in my second year. I am working towards a diploma in civil engineering and am sponsored by Abu Dhabi municipality. I still have one year to graduate and I hope to complete it efficiently. After that I am going to start a bachelor’s degree in ALHUSUN University. Then I will take a rest for a couple of years and think about getting married and other things.
